We have been commissioned to restore & upgrade this Mark IV AC Cobra.
The upgrade is to include the following (but is subject to change as the customer gets more & more excited about the project).

Interior: Convert dash to MK III type (period style to hide heater controls), rework controls, switches & lamps, to modify handbrake & fit period gear shift. Remove inertia belts in favour of full harnesses. Fit fire extinguisher & remove modern lamps etc.

Exterior: Fit roll over hoop with SC style support, remove bumpers front & rear, fit Le-Mans style fuel filler car. Fit period racing mirrors to door pins & centre of dash. Fit chrome wipers & blades. Re-chrome stone guards & fit correct piping.

Body: Modify rear of body to fit period single US style lamps & modify to include indicators. Prepare & weld alloy body to remove aerial hole, seat belt holes, bumper shock fittings, reverse lamp hole & cut in a recess for the Le-Mans filler cap.

Performance: Remove rear exhaust system & fit side exit, race car style, exhaust system (not full side pipes)

Paint & Trim: Finally, the car will benefit from a re-paint in black with matching carpet & hide interior.

We are all looking forward to the amazing transformation of this Cobra. Estimated due date is mid May in time for a great Summer season of driving.
